Jesus taught that the most "religious" people might not always do the most Godlike things. Those we least respect, the Samaritan in his story (the enemies of the jews), may be the ones who show the most love and selfless concern for others. The mask shows this was created during the COVID pandemic. It was meant to convey the fact that Christians should be thinking of the sick instead of their comfort.
